Dress for the weather! We suggest wearing comfortable-fitting clothes that you do not mind getting grubby; waterproofs or a change of clothing is recommended during wet weather days. No strappy tops, skirts/dresses without underclothing or bare midriffs. Flapping clothing or scarves will need to be removed or secured in place. Please be advised that niqab and hijab-wearers will need to adjust their headscarves so that nothing is tied or pinned across the throat; sports hijabs or single-loop underscarves are a safer alternative. For your feet; secure footwear such as trainers or walking boots are ideal; something with a bit of grip. No open-toe shoes, flip-flops or sandals will be permitted on any activity.
Long hair should be tied back, all jewellery is to be removed (rings, watches, earrings etc.), and bags/bumbags taken off. We do not have any secure storage facilities on site so please be prepared to store valuables safely away in a zipped pocket or car – or safer still, left at home! For the colder days, it is strongly advised that you wear gloves whilst participating and we recommend wearing sensible warm/waterproof clothing and a hat.
CastleWood Tree Top Adventure reserves the right to refuse admittance should the appropriate clothing not be worn. Please do contact us with any concerns or queries.
We are open whatever the weather unless we are experiencing gales, unusually high winds, lightning, heavy ice or snow. Being prepared for all types of weather will reduce the chance of it dampening your day. The great news is, the trees act as a great shelter – unless someone shakes the tree!
We advise wearing suitable clothing for the weather conditions.
Please remember open toe shoes are not permitted even in hot weather.
